RR Autograph Auctions Charlie Chaplin

Extraordinary iconic vintage pearl-finish 5 x 7 full-length photo of The Tramp belting out a laugh, floridly signed in fountain pen, “Faithfully, Chas. Chaplin.” Some trivial edge and corner creasing, some light, brushed surface marks, and a bit of light silvering, otherwise fine condition. Chaplin describes his very first transformation into Mack Sennett’s now legendary character, recollecting a very natural, almost instantaneous acclamation: “The moment I was dressed, the clothes and makeup made me feel the person he was. I began to know him, and by the time I walked onstage he was fully born.” An exceedingly rare and well-preserved example of Chaplin in his iconic character. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RR Auction COA.

RR Auctions Ivory Gripped Colt 1860 Army Revolver

#81137, caliber .44 with an 8” barrel having a very good bore. This was a standard military issue revolver with a few small inspector’s initials remaining on the metal. All of the steel surfaces have been cleaned to bright. There are no patent markings on the frame, the cylinder scene has been removed, and the “NEW-YORK” barrel address is clearly legible. The numbers match with the exception of “200737” on the backstrap and a plain wedge.

The ivory grips are repaired with a small piece of brown bone in the right hand side, otherwise they have nice age toning. The mechanism works well. RRAuction COA.
